What's New for 2023 Honda Models?
The new year also means new changes for the Honda lineup. Whether you’re shopping for a new vehicle or just curious about what’s in store, Marthaler Honda of Ashland has you covered with our rundown of the latest changes for 2023.
Look out for the Civic Type R as it makes its debut in 2023. Not only do you get more aggressive styling and handling, but it also comes with a burly 2.0-liter turbocharged VTEC engine with 315 horsepower on tap, matched with a slick 6-speed manual transmission and a performance logger so you can keep track of the fun.
The Accord, on the other hand, is set for a 2023 refresh with revised styling and a reworked hybrid drivetrain. The new look takes its cues from the Civic, leaving it with a cleaner yet more aggressive appearance. The same can be said of the all-new interior which features piano black trim and mesh covers over the air vents. A 7-inch touchscreen display comes standard with an optional 12.3-inch unit available.
Honda aims to put the Accord hybrid in the spotlight by making four of its six trims – Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring – hybrid-only. These versions offer 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque from an Atkinson-cycle 2.0-liter I4 engine. Non-hybrid models solder on with a revised version of the turbocharged 1.5-liter I4 engine with 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque at the ready.
Also new to the Pilot lineup is the TrailSport trim, which adds even more rugged hardware to the already-capable SUV. These features include added ground clearance for the off-road-tuned suspension, underbody skid plates, and an exclusive Diffused Sky Blue exterior color.
Civic
The Civic swaggers into 2023 with relatively few changes. After all, it’s hot on the heels of a momentous 2022 redesign. That means you’ll enjoy the same good looks, pleasing interior, and fun driving dynamics that made last year’s model such a standout among its competition.
